MEET MS. kayla griffin

Kayla Griffin is a 2 nd year graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Bowie State University. She intends to specialize in trauma, anxiety, interpersonal violence, and depression by utilizing person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. Ms. Griffin has experience working with youth, adolescents and college aged students aiming to reach a higher level of independence. Kayla is committed to working with underserved populations to help minimize inequities and disparities faced in these communities. She hopes to create a safe space for clients to freely express their thoughts and feelings while working towards goals to becoming their greatest selves.
