Aiysha is a PG County native who has dedicated her career to breaking the cycles of homelessness, poverty and abuse in the African American community. She is passionate about mental health and is committed to educating, empowering and assisting her clients reach their therapeutic goals. Aiysha's professional, educational and training experience has afforded her the opportunity to work with diverse populations to include military veterans, LGBTQ, couples, families and teenagers.  She believes that through building a strong therapeutic alliance and being present for those she serves, she creates an optimal environment for change, growth and healing. She received her Master's in Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2012 and has been a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor since 2016.
